Where I have been, where I am going

Where I have been, condensed (since this site was last updated, circa 2002):

New York City to San Francisco and back to New York. Ten different apartments. Countless freelance gigs. Stayed at one job for two years. Lived in one apartment for two years. Helped start a magazine. Took a lot of pictures and read a lot of books. China, Spain, the Philippines, Japan, Costa Rica, Canada, and many very very long train rides.

And a lot of other things.

Where I am going:

Off to Mexico on Saturday to escape winter. West coast in June, writing in a cabin in July. Finishing this book sometime this year. Eating hot noodle soup and dumplings in Chinatown for dinner tonight.
